A Look at Popular Diets & How Body By Vi Compares
Have you noticed how many popular diets there are? Calorie control, carbohydrate control, cookie diets… the list goes on and on. For anyone trying to lose weight and stay healthy, it can be difficult to decide which plan will work best for their body. Let’s take a look at a few of the most popular diets to help you make an informed decision.
Popular Diets – The Atkin’s Diet
The Atkin’s diet has been one of the most popular diets over the last decade. The basis of this eating plan is that those following it cut their daily carbohydrate intake to below 30g per day. This often leads many Atkin’s diet followers to believe the idea that they can consume high calorie and high fat foods as long as they do not contain many carbohydrates. While this can be an excellent way to drop a large amount of body fat fast, it isn’t necessarily the best option for your overall health.
Popular Diets – Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet
Most people in America have what could be described as a sweet tooth. With Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet, the diet follower consumes a special cookie every two hours and one generous meal throughout the day. While this is a good form of calorie restriction, the cookie diet may be difficult for many to follow due to lack of fullness. This often leads to binging or making unwise food choices, which can be counteractive to losing weight. In addition, purchasing the special cookies can be expensive and inconvenient. And anyway, do you really want to follow someone with name “Snookie” giving you advice on nutrition?!
Popular Diets – Weight Watchers
There has been great mention in the media about Weight Watchers lately, mostly due to the high level celebrity endorsers that the plan has been able to include in their advertising. American Idol Jennifer Hudson is the most current celebrity notable for her weight loss success with the plan, leading many people to believe that Weight Watchers is the best choice of the list of popular diets available. This plan features calorie restriction by giving every food a “point” system value. For some, this is greatly affective. For those who already have problems deciding what is a healthy food choice, this can lead to weight loss disaster.
Body By Vi vs. Popular Diets

The biggest thing that sets Body By Vi apart from other popular diets is the Vi Shape Shake. This nutrition packed calorie controlled shake is also referred to as the shake mix that tastes like cake mix. It is consumed in place of breakfast and lunch for those following the Body By Vi plan. Add in a few suggested snacks during the day (i.e. apples, small side salad, almonds, etc.) with a sensible dinner, many are able to see results within a few days. Why is this so successful versus other popular diets? The less choices a plan has, the less likely the follower will make a calorie laden sabotaging food decision in their day. Dieters are also encouraged to break their involvement down into a 90 Day Challenge to make the process both easy and fun. Coupled with the high price and cost of most diets, The Body By Vi 90 day challenge is something that is workable for the average person to achieve long lasting results.

What Is The Price Of Your Network Marketing Success?
Network Marketing
I know it’s been some time for me since my last post. Suffice it to say, it’s been a time of action and building. With that I also have had lots of conversations with several other marketers out there about an issue that pops up from time to time and carries an incredible stigma with it, so I wanted to weigh in myself and really look at it from a business perspective instead of an emotional one. I am a huge believer in the power of vision and dreams in our lives.
You can ask any of my team members or upline mentors and they will tell you that I can spend hours on the subject identifying the deepest and most powerful dreams we have. We all do have them, they are just hidden away in the dim recesses of our psyche. We only allow them to emerge and have breath when we are either in a deep sleep or a severe traffic jam.
It is amazing to me how we many contexts and connotations a word can have and how it resonates differently to each person.
I chose the word vision because I noticed how often I stress it my team in terms of goal setting and building our business.
Sometimes, I forget that one person’s vision, (their why, or reason for getting involved in a business opportunity)differs from mine or anyone else’s. It really does come down to personal investment and preference. It is why I don’t try to cookie cutter anyone into following the same type of vision as I may have for their business.
When I looked at the diverse definitions of vision it really made me “see” how unique and special each person’s can be.
What do YOU “see” for your business, and more importantly, your life? Read the rest of this entry »
I Can’t Sponsor A Single Person! 3 Simple Rules Part 2

I Can’t Sponsor a Single Person! 3 Rules You Should follow
I want to start this blog out today by stating a truth about every great leader in ANY industry. Whether it’s business, sports, entertainment, what have you, the ones that rose to the top faced the same trials and challenges as you may be facing right now. For the sake of remaining true to this particular blog, I will keep my focus on the network marketing industry.
I recently had the good fortune to spend some great quality time with one of my partners and friends in my primary opportunity, Master trainer Ray Higdon.
I encourage each and every one of you to not be afraid to interview your leaders and ask them to speak candidly on what you feel is your greatest struggle. They are actually willing to help and support you. Don’t try to be superman or superwoman. Few were born to network marketing and even those who are adept at it, go through the trenches each day as you do. The only difference is they learned to bring the right tools in with them.
I found out some very interesting information after our conversation. Did you know that there are days that the absolute beasts in network marketing, like Ray don’t get responses from people that they themselves have personally spoken to?
Whoa! Hold the phone here!
Are you friggin telling me that they don’t just have the “magic formula” for signing up people?
That’s right. I asked him some fairly pointed questions regarding his journey to becoming the top earner in Numis Network. Ray shared many poignant insights, and since I am a better listener than a note taker, this will be the recounting the top 3 things over the course of the next 3 days that will change your sign up rate.
